Treasured Films Unleashes Werewolf Woman in Two Limited Edition Bundles This February
Treasured Films are baring their fangs once again with the announcement of their latest cult horror release, Werewolf Woman (1976), directed by Italian sleaze auteur Rino Di Silvestro. This outrageous slice of Euro-horror madness will make its long-awaited UK Blu-ray debut on February 26, 2026, in not one but two specially packaged editions for collectors and genre fans alike.
Werewolf Woman is available to pre-order now in two options. The first is the Art Card Bundle, which includes the Limited Edition Blu-ray, a magnet, poster, and exclusive art card. The first 80 pre-orders will receive this special bundle, and it’s also included in Treasured Films’ ongoing “Next 6 Releases” subscription plan.

For those looking for something even rarer, there’s the Howard Ross Bundle, which features everything from the standard edition plus a signed art card from the film’s co-star and Italian cinema legend Howard Ross. Due to its extremely limited nature, this bundle is not part of the subscription plan and will be available only while stocks last.
The film itself is one of the wildest cult curiosities ever to claw its way out of 1970s Italian cinema. Werewolf Woman stars Annik Borel as Daniella, a mentally unstable young woman haunted by the belief that she is the reincarnation of her ancestor, a woman executed centuries ago for being a werewolf. Traumatised by past abuse, Daniella’s desires twist into a deadly obsession as she lures men to their doom in fits of bestial rage. When she falls for a kind-hearted man, played by Howard Ross, it seems as though redemption may be possible — until fate and fury collide in a finale dripping with blood and tragedy.
Directed by Rino Di Silvestro, infamous for exploitation classics like Deported Women of the SS Special Section, Werewolf Woman is a gloriously unhinged mix of erotic horror and psychological trauma that once earned a place on the UK’s notorious “Video Nasties” list. Now, Treasured Films is resurrecting it in a brand-new 2K restoration, packed with special features that should satisfy even the most ravenous collectors.
The Limited Edition comes housed in a rigid slipcase with new artwork by Justin Coffee and a perfect-bound booklet featuring fresh essays by Amanda Reyes, Andrew Marshall-Roberts, and Darrell Buxton. The release also includes six collector’s art cards, a reversible poster, and an exclusive “Hairy Moon” magnet designed by Pixel Elixir.

Among the extensive bonus materials are two brand-new audio commentaries — one from film historians Kim Newman and David Flint, and another from Eugenio Ercolani and Troy Howarth. Additional highlights include Moonchild: Stephen Thrower on Werewolf Woman, a new interview with co-star Howard Ross, a filmed Ross Q&A from Weird Worcester 2025, and a video essay on Dagmar Lassander by Eugenio Ercolani. Archival interviews, restoration comparisons, trailers, and galleries round out this impressive package.
This release continues Treasured Films’ steady rise in the boutique home video scene. With previous releases including Nomads, The Last Shark, Dawn of the Mummy, and the recently unveiled Mikey (which we’ll be reviewing very soon), the label is quickly establishing itself as a serious contender alongside other boutique outfits like Last Slate Video. Their attention to restoration detail, expert curation, and fan-focused packaging make every announcement a cause for celebration among collectors.
With Werewolf Woman set to prowl onto shelves this February, Treasured Films proves once again that their mission to preserve, restore, and celebrate cult cinema is alive and kicking — or perhaps more fittingly, howling.
