Wednesday Season 2 Gets New Trailer

Netflix just dropped the brand-new trailer for Wednesday Season 2, and it’s official: the deadpan queen of goth is back—and this time, she’s trying to stop a murder before it happens.
The trailer, which premiered July 9, puts Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday Addams front and center as she returns to Nevermore Academy, now burdened with unwanted fame and eerie visions. The biggest twist? She foresees the death of her best friend Enid (Emma Myers)—and believes she’s the cause.
“I’ll save Enid… or die trying,” she says ominously in the trailer’s closing moments.
Packed with gothic visuals, sinister new faces, and hints of supernatural horror, the trailer offers a deeper look at what’s coming in the eight-episode season, which will roll out in two parts:
Part 1 premieres August 6
Part 2 drops September 3
What the Wednesday Season 2 Trailer Reveals
The new footage gives us glimpses of:
- Steve Buscemi as Nevermore’s creepy new principal, Barry Dort
- Glimpses of a haunted carnival, masked rituals, and something (or someone) lurking in the shadows
- Wednesday possibly facing off against a cult-like presence tied to her own family history
- Enid in real danger — and Wednesday confronting the idea that caring about people makes you vulnerable
We also spot returning favorites like Morticia and Gomez (Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzmán), Uncle Fester, and Tyler—yes, still Hyde, still dangerous.
Wednesday Season 2 Star Power & Creepy Cameos
The trailer teases a star-studded expansion of the Addams universe:
- Anthony Michael Hall (reuniting with Tim Burton for the first time since Edward Scissorhands)
- Billie Piper, Noah Taylor, and Joanna Lumley
- And yes, Lady Gaga is officially in the cast, playing a mysterious Nevermore faculty member named Rosaline Rotwood—a perfect nod to her viral connection with Wednesday’s infamous Season 1 dance.
