Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 3 Trailer Unleashes Absolute Carnage
Pooh Bear’s transformation from honey-loving childhood favourite into homicidal maniac clearly isn’t finished yet. The first trailer for Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 3 has arrived, and the Hundred Acre Wood’s most troubled resident has somehow found an even less wholesome place to spend his time: a travelling circus.
The new footage offers our first proper look at the third Blood and Honey film, which is heading for release in late January 2027. This time, however, there are some significant changes behind the camera as the series prepares to move another step closer to its planned monster crossover, Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble. IGN first released the trailer.
And judging by the trailer, subtlety remains very firmly off the menu.
Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 3 Trailer Takes Us to the Circus
Rather than simply sending Pooh on another killing spree through familiar territory, the third film introduces the sinister Woozles Circus. Fifteen years after Pooh, Tigger and Rabbit were captured, the creatures have become attractions in a travelling carnival controlled by a collection of decidedly suspicious characters.
The human story centres on Momo Milne, an orphan searching for answers about her missing mother. Her investigation takes her and friend Billie inside the circus, where disappearing people, drugged half-human creatures and increasingly unpleasant discoveries suggest that buying candyfloss and quietly leaving would probably have been the wiser option.
Scott Chambers takes over directing duties from Rhys Frake-Waterfield, who directed the first two Blood and Honey films and remains involved as a producer. Chambers is hardly new to this increasingly bonkers universe, having produced the earlier films and directed Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare.
He’s promising considerably more blood this time. Chambers revealed that he counted 20 character deaths during filming, with the kills achieved practically using prosthetics, make-up and physical gore effects. He described the finished film as “absolute carnage”, which certainly appears to be an accurate summary of the trailer.

Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 3 Expands the Poohniverse
Perhaps the most intriguing addition is Richard Stanley, director of Hardware, Dust Devil and Color Out of Space. Stanley wrote the screenplay and also appears as Balthazar Von Woozle, the circus’s immortal ringmaster.
Then there is Rabbit. The character makes his horror-franchise arrival with a particularly recognisable voice, as Roger L. Jackson, best known as the voice of Ghostface throughout the Scream series, provides his vocals. Josephine Blazier, Kira Reed, Leo Harris, Zena Donnelly and Harrison Davis are also among the cast.
What began with the tiny-budget Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey in 2023 has now developed into an interconnected horror universe. The original was followed by Blood and Honey 2, while Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare and Bambi: The Reckoning expanded the concept beyond Pooh. Pinocchio Unstrung is another part of the growing series.

Everything is ultimately building towards Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble, with Chambers confirming that Blood and Honey 3 leads directly towards the crossover.
Whether audiences ever expected Winnie-the-Pooh to become horror’s answer to the Avengers is another question entirely, but we’ve travelled far beyond the point where any of this can be considered normal. The new trailer suggests the filmmakers know exactly what their audience has turned up for: monsters, practical gore, increasingly ridiculous mythology and a Pooh Bear who desperately needs to rediscover honey as a hobby.
