NECA Reveals Ultimate Thanksgiving Art the Clown Figure
If your Thanksgiving dinner table isn’t already a horrifying bloodbath, NECA may have just found a way to fix that.
The legendary toy company has officially revealed its latest addition to the ever-growing Terrifier collection, with the Ultimate Thanksgiving Art the Clown figure arriving this summer. Based on Damien Leone’s Terrifier 2, the release recreates Art’s memorable appearance from the film’s infamous Thanksgiving dinner sequence, complete with an exclusive blood-soaked apron tailored specifically for the figure.

Standing in NECA’s popular 7-inch scale, the figure features full articulation, including double-jointed elbows, allowing collectors to pose the silent killer in a variety of unsettling ways. Multiple interchangeable faceplates are included, showcasing some of Art’s signature expressions that helped turn him into one of modern horror’s most recognisable villains.
Of course, no Art the Clown figure would be complete without a collection of accessories that make normal action figures look positively boring. Alongside a sword and syringe, collectors will also receive a plate, spoon, wine glass, pot of mashed potatoes with lid and several additional accessories inspired by the film. The figure will arrive in collector-friendly window box packaging featuring NECA’s traditional opening front flap design.

The release is the latest in a long line of Art the Clown collectibles from NECA, who have quickly embraced the character’s rise to horror superstardom. Previous Ultimate releases have included Art in his classic black-and-white clown costume from the original Terrifier, along with deluxe versions featuring an assortment of gruesome accessories. The company has also produced clothed action figures and other collectibles based on the franchise, helping Art secure a place alongside horror merchandise heavyweights such as Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees and Ghostface.
What’s particularly remarkable is how quickly Art the Clown has achieved that status. Unlike many horror icons who benefited from major studio backing and decades of sequels, Art’s journey has been far more unconventional. The character first appeared in Damien Leone’s short films before making his feature debut in All Hallows’ Eve in 2013. However, it was 2016’s Terrifier that truly introduced audiences to the silent, sadistic clown, with David Howard Thornton’s performance helping transform Art into an instant cult favourite.
The character’s popularity exploded with the release of Terrifier 2 in 2022. Produced on a modest budget, the film became one of horror’s biggest success stories, earning critical praise, strong word of mouth and impressive box office returns. Its reputation was further boosted by reports of audience members fainting or feeling ill during screenings, largely thanks to the film’s unapologetically graphic practical effects work.

By the time Terrifier 3 arrived in 2024, Art the Clown had fully cemented himself as one of horror’s modern icons. The Christmas-themed sequel became the highest-grossing entry in the franchise and further expanded the character’s reach beyond hardcore horror fans. What began as an independent horror experiment had evolved into one of the genre’s most successful modern franchises.
That success has naturally translated into merchandise, and NECA has been at the forefront of bringing Art to collectors’ shelves. The company’s Ultimate line has long been regarded as the gold standard for horror action figures, delivering detailed likenesses, extensive articulation and screen-accurate accessories. From Michael Myers and Leatherface to Chucky and Pennywise, many of horror’s greatest villains have received the Ultimate treatment, making Art’s continued presence in the line a testament to his growing legacy.

The new Thanksgiving edition may be one of the most distinctive Art releases yet. While many horror figures focus solely on weapons and bloodshed, this release leans into one of Terrifier 2’s most memorable sequences, combining the film’s dark humour with its trademark brutality. It’s bizarre, disturbing and strangely festive all at once, which is probably the most accurate description of the Terrifier franchise imaginable.
The Ultimate Thanksgiving Art the Clown figure is scheduled to arrive this summer. For Terrifier fans, horror collectors and anyone looking to make family dinners significantly more uncomfortable, this is one release worth keeping an eye on.
