Who Is the Ice Cream Man?
Gregory Tudor, better known as the Ice Cream Man, is a mentally unstable killer who hides behind the smiling façade of a small-town ice cream vendor. But his treats don’t just come with sprinkles — they come with eyeballs, body parts, and madness. Scarred by trauma, institutionalization, and twisted nostalgia, Gregory believes he’s doing the Lord’s work by serving his special “ingredients” to the town.
What makes him frightening isn’t just his gruesome hobby — it’s his childlike innocence combined with deadly psychosis. He’s not evil for the sake of it. He genuinely thinks he’s spreading happiness… through murder and mutilation.
Ice Cream Man (1995)

In this bizarre horror-comedy, Gregory Tudor inherits his old neighborhood ice cream truck after his favorite vendor is gunned down in front of him as a child. Raised in a mental asylum known as the “Wishing Well Sanatorium,” Gregory is released into the community and quickly resumes business — only now, he’s serving human body parts as toppings.
Kids begin disappearing, cones are filled with fingers and teeth, and the local authorities — hilariously inept — are always one step behind. The only people who suspect something are a group of children known as the “Rocketeers,” who go full Goonies to try and expose the town’s coldest killer.
Clint Howard plays Gregory with unsettling glee — alternating between dead-eyed stares and gleeful sing-song delivery. His voice never rises. His tone never shifts. He’s like Mr. Rogers with a hacksaw, and that makes him even more disturbing.
