NECA Bring Dead by Daylight to Life With First Killer Figures
For years, horror collectors have filled their shelves with action figures of Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, Ghostface, Leatherface, Chucky and countless other genre icons. Now it looks like one of gaming’s biggest horror franchises is finally getting the same treatment.
NECA has officially unveiled its first Dead by Daylight action figures, giving fans an exclusive look at highly detailed collectibles based on two of the game’s original killers: The Trapper and The Huntress.
The figures were first showcased at New York Toy Fair 2026 and mark the beginning of what could become one of the most exciting horror toy lines in recent years.

Both figures stand in NECA’s popular 7-inch scale and feature full articulation, interchangeable hands and weapon accessories. Full image galleries are expected to be released when pre-orders officially go live on June 4.
For Dead by Daylight fans, however, the bigger story may be what comes next.
Dead by Daylight has grown into one of the most successful horror games ever made since launching in 2016. Behaviour Interactive’s asymmetrical multiplayer title pits four survivors against a single killer controlled by another player, all under the watchful gaze of the mysterious Entity.
Over the past decade, the game has become a celebration of horror itself, bringing together icons from Halloween, Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Saw, Hellraiser, Child’s Play, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Alien and many more.
But while licensed killers often grab the headlines, some of the game’s most memorable creations have actually been Behaviour’s own original monsters.
That is what makes this NECA partnership particularly exciting.

The Trapper and The Huntress are obvious starting points. Both have become unofficial mascots for the franchise. The Trapper, with his brutal bear traps and intimidating mask, has been stalking survivors since the game’s launch. Meanwhile, The Huntress remains one of the most beloved killers in the roster thanks to her terrifying lullaby, giant hatchets and unforgettable rabbit mask.
Yet Dead by Daylight’s original killer lineup offers a treasure trove of potential future releases.
Imagine The Wraith, complete with his skeletal appearance and haunting Wailing Bell. The character’s design remains one of the game’s most distinctive, and a NECA figure featuring his signature weapon and cloaking effects would look fantastic displayed alongside other horror icons.
Then there is The Nurse, perhaps the most frightening hospital worker in gaming history. Floating above the ground with her twisted head, bandaged face and bone saw, she would make for an incredibly creepy collectible.
Fans would no doubt love to see The Doctor receive the NECA treatment as well. His cracked grin, electroshock equipment and disturbing asylum-inspired design have made him one of the game’s most recognisable villains. He already looks like he escaped from a particularly nasty horror movie.
The same goes for The Hag, whose emaciated, mud-covered appearance remains one of the most monstrous designs in the entire game. She may be nightmare fuel for survivors, but she would look absolutely incredible in figure form.

Then there is The Hillbilly, Behaviour’s chainsaw-wielding monster whose deformed appearance and terrifying sprint attacks helped establish Dead by Daylight’s identity in its early years. Horror collectors love grotesque monsters, and The Hillbilly would fit perfectly into NECA’s catalogue.
Other Dead By Daylight Killers for future NECA figures?
The Clown, with his grotesque carnival aesthetic and collection of toxic bottles, would make for a wonderfully detailed figure. The Trickster, inspired by K-pop stardom and serial killer obsession, would bring an entirely different style to the line, complete with his neon colours, throwing knives and flashy costume design.
Characters such as The Artist, The Dredge, The Knight, The Unknown and The Singularity could each provide stunning and highly unique additions to a future collection.
In fact, one of Dead by Daylight’s greatest strengths has always been the variety of its killers. Very few horror franchises can jump from a medieval knight to an alien biomechanical organism, then to a murderous celebrity and finally to an eldritch creature made from darkness itself.
NECA has built a reputation for embracing exactly these kinds of fan-favourite horror properties. Over the years the company has produced figures from Friday the 13th, Halloween, Evil Dead, Alien, Predator, The Thing, Child’s Play and countless others.
Dead by Daylight feels like a natural fit.
Timing could hardly be better, either.

The game is currently celebrating its tenth anniversary, and excitement within the community is higher than it has been in years. Just last week, Behaviour Interactive finally revealed that Jason Voorhees will be entering The Fog on June 16 after years of fan requests. While Jason is, of course, a licensed character rather than a Dead by Daylight original, his arrival further highlights how much momentum the franchise currently enjoys.
For now, collectors can look forward to The Trapper and The Huntress leading the charge.
But if these figures prove successful, and there is every reason to believe they will, this could be the start of an entire Dead by Daylight collection.
And honestly, who wouldn’t want a shelf filled with The Nurse, The Doctor, The Wraith and The Huntress staring back at them?
